Yolonda Kay Gehrke-Doris, 50, Tescott, went to be with her Lord and beloved angels on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born March 30, 1969 in Salina, KS to Marvin B. Gehrke and Kathleen A. Fleshman.
Yolonda was a 1987 graduate of Minneapolis High School. She then attended Emporia State University where she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. She also studied Travel and Tourism at Brown Mackie in Salina Kansas. Yolonda was the mother to three children; Dillon Hackett, Mackenzie Hackett both of Salina, and Jaden Raccagno of Bennington.
Yolonda loved animals, especially her Dachshunds. She enjoyed reading, being outside, and camping. Yolonda loved her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her father, Marvin.
Survivors are her spouse, Bruce Doris (and his daughter Rachel); children, Dillon (Marika), Mackenzie, and Jaden; mother and step-father, Kathleen Hendrixson (Doug); sister, Denise Berndt (Brian); brothers, Jason Gehrke, Jeremy Gehrke (Melanie) and step-sisters, Meredith Johnson (Nick) and Paige Kueker (Matt); 5 grandchildren; 9 nieces and nephews; 1 great niece and 1 great nephew.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 30 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to Love, INC and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
