William E. (Bill) Kirn, Minneapolis 83, passed away July 21, 2009 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis
He was born January 2nd, 1926 to Maurice and Agnes (McDade) Kirn in Salina, Kansas. Bill was a retired farmer and built Kirn Kraft pickup toppers.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janel; his son John and his wife Lexi; his daughter Jill; and his brother Dale, of Anaheim California. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ralph and Donald
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Minneapolis with the Msgr. James Hake presiding. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thursday at Wilson Shields Funeral Home where a prayer vigil and rosary will be at 7 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Rock City and may be left in care of the funeral home.
