Warren Edward Harder, 85, of Minneapolis passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017. He was born August 23, 1931 in Wells, KS to Fred and Ada (Matson) Harder. He was united in marriage with Illa Rae Allison on November 21, 1954. He was a long-term employee of Brown Welding, Lindsey Creek Angus Farms, and managed the Harder family farm. He enjoyed traveling, reading, photography, movies, and especially family time.
Survivors include his children Kyle (Eve) Harder, of Salina, Kent (Pam) Harder, of Minneapolis, and Kalisa (Sam) Laffere of Bennington, grandchildren Craig (Amber) Harder, of Mineola, Tiffany (Brett) Speaks, of Prairie Village, Brandon Harder, of Minneapolis and Elizabeth (Tony) Laffere, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Dawn Heighton of Salina, great grandchildren include Ryan Harder, of Minneapolis, Angel, Aubree, and Autumn Harder, of Mineola and Bradley Speaks, of Prairie Village. Warren is also survived by his brothers Asel and Stanley Harder, and a sister Alice Colton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ada Harder, his wife, Illa Rae Harder.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 19 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Burial will be in the Bennington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Bennington Fire Department or the Clifton Presbyterian Church and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
