Wanda A. Whitesell, 89, Bennington, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Salina Regional Health Center.  She was born October 11, 1931 in Delphos to Richard and Ruby (Smith) Snyder.

Wanda and George H. Whitesell, Jr. were united in marriage on May 8, 1949. She taught elementary school in Saline County for 25 years and she was a member of the United Church of Bennington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Lucille Reynolds.

Survivors are her sons and their spouses, Larry (Mary), Carl (LaQuita), Richard (Sharlene), and Mark (Cathy) Whitesell; brother, Duane Snyder; and numerous grandchildren.

Private services will be held in the Delphos Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Church of Bennington and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
