Virginia D. Kline,91, Delphos, Kansas, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis.
Virginia was born January 5, 1918 in Clay County, Kansas to William L. and Rosa E. (Shepherd) VanFleet. She was united in marriage to Melvin Kline on June 17, 1939 in Marysville, Kansas. Virginia was a homemaker. She was a member of the Delphos Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Women, and the Rebekah Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband on September 13, 1979; an infant daughter, Donna Sue; and her sister, Juanita Kloxin.
Virginia is survived by her son Larry Kline and his wife Brenda of Delphos; grandchildren Kevin Kline and Shelia Greer; and great-grandchildren Taylor, Sydney, and Krysten Kline and Heather and Dusty Greer.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday at the Delphos Presbyterian Church with Michele McHenry, C.L.P. officiating. Burial will be in the Delphos Cemetery. Friends may sign the register book from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. Monday at Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to the church or the American Cancer Society.
