Vikki Lee (Liby) Deiter, El Paso, TX was born May 21, 1954 to Robert and Leona Liby in Salina KS. She entered Heaven's gates after a courageous battle with cancer on January 30, 2018.
Vikki, a 1972 graduate of Minneapolis High School, served her country four years, following in her father's footsteps in the United States Navy. Vikki was married to Cary Deiter in 1988 and spent much of their married life in Texas.
Those waiting to welcome Vikki to her heavenly home were, her husband Cary, her parents, brother, Kevin Liby and numerous other relatives.
We, who will miss her terribly, are son Joshua Hughey; stepchildren Cary Lee (Stacy), Sam (Megan) & Jenny (Don); sister, Cathy Ruhl (Bill); two uncles, Leo Baker and Larry Welch; numerous cousins and friends.
Vicki's love for God, & her joyous spirit was an encouragement to all who knew her.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 10 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
