Twila D. Werries, 89, Salina, died Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the Holiday Resort, Salina. She was born August 2, 1923 in Tescott to Luther and Cora (Chambers) Lee.

Twila attended Tescott schools and she was a graduate of Tescott High School. She was united in marriage with Delbert C. Werries on September 1, 1950 in Bentonville, AR. Twila was an Amway distributor for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Delbert; and her brothers Jim and Merlin Lee.

Survivors include her brothers Duane Lee of Tescott, John Lee of Seymour, TX, and Von Lee of Tescott; her sister Marzie Bremerman of Tescott; sisters-in-law Clea Lee of Salina and Gayle Ann Lee of Tescott; and many nieces and nephews.

Twila's body was donated to the University of Kansas Medical Center and it was her wishes that no services be held. Delbert and Twila's cremains will be interred at a later date in the Franklin Cemetery, Tescott.
