Obituary

Tracey Sin, 52, died May 12, 2023, in Andover, KS. Tracey was born in Cambodia on October 30, 1970. He was brought to America as a boy through an agency of the Catholic church, for which he was forever grateful.  Tracey became an American citizen and he found the political system very intriguing, even entering the race for Salina city commission.

Tracey was an excellent cook and loved sharing meals with his friends. Many guest performers at the Stiefel Theatre and artists at the Smoky Hill River Festival were recipients of his delicacies. Tracey proudly volunteered in Salina at both the Stiefel Theatre and River Festival. Tracey even had his own cooking show on Access TV. Tracey spoke several languages and loved to learn.

Tracey was a loyal friend and always looked out for those who seemed to be overlooked by society. He loved the elderly and made many friends during his time in assisted living.

Tracey leaves behind his family and many friends who will miss his laughter and loyal friendship.

A private service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Tracey's favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or you may choose to remember Tracey by doing "little acts of kindness" as Tracey so often did.  Memorials may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
