Tonya M. Hodges, 39, Minneapolis, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tonya was born March 27, 1973 in Liberal to Ray and Dyann (McKain) Jackson. She was a 1992 graduate of Liberal High School and then she attended and graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. Tonya then earned her Master's degree of Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas.

On April 10, 1999, she was united in marriage with Barry Hodges. Before her illness she worked as the Director of Physical Therapy at the Ottawa County Health Center in Minneapolis.

Survivors include her husband Barry; two daughters Hanna and Halli Hodges; her parents Ray and Dyann Jackson of Liberal; siblings, Kristy (Jim) Olson of Tyrone, Ok., Monica (Mark) Girdner of Ankeny, Ia; and many other family and friends.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 14 at the First Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Tonya Hodges Memorial Fund which will be used as an education fund for Hanna and Halli.
