Theresa M. Koster, 59, Tescott, Kansas, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the Salina Regional Health Center.
Theresa was born July 16, 1948 in Colville, Washington to Arnold and Ida (Klocke) Troske. She was united in marriage with Dennis E. Koster on November 27, 1970 in Colville, Washington.
Theresa was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where she served on the church council and was a member of the Council of Catholic Women. She was also a member of the Ottawa County Conservation District, and the American Legion and V.F.W. Auxiliaries.
Theresa was a farmwife and was currently working as a Cartographer for NRCS in Salina.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Dennis of the home; her children, Brian and his wife Emily of Tescott, Laura and her husband Shannon Cheah of Kansas City, Missouri, Joe of Tescott, Jared of Parkville, MO, and Rachel of Tescott; her brother, Jim and his wife Peg Troske of Spokane, WA; her sister, Margie and her husband Dave Johnson of Spokane, WA; and her grandchildren, Nicholas and Rose Koster.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery, Tescott. Visitation will be from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the church where a Prayer Vigil and Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ottawa County Relay for Life, Tescott Alumni Scholarship Fund, or the Tescott American Legion Auxiliary and may be left in care of the funeral home.
