Theodore E. Wolf, 84, Bennington, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Salina Regional Health Center. Ted was born November 16, 1933 in Salina to Rudolph and Nellie (Frazier) Wolf.

Ted was a 1951 graduate of Bennington High School. He was united in marriage on August 29, 1953 with Shirley Ross. They made their home east of Bennington where Ted was a very hard working and dedicated farmer for many years.

He was past president and treasurer for the Buckeye Township and he was a longtime member of the Bennington Saddle Club.

Ted was preceded in death by his wife Shirley on January 18, 2013; and his siblings, Max, Gerald, Earl, Lavone, and James.

Survivors include his children, Jill Dunning and her husband Jim; Kurt Wolf and his wife Chris; Brad Wolf and his wife Kathy, grandchildren, Tiffany Trotter and her husband Christian, Jenna Wolf, Tessa Wolf, Brian Wolf and wife Melissa and Brandi Lewis and husband, Jon; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 16 at the Bennington Senior Center from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and they ask that you come prepared to share a story about Ted with them. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Theodore Wolf Memorial Fund and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
