Obituary

Thelma Mae (Talley) Baldock died July 5, 2014, at the Ottawa County Health Center in Minneapolis, KS. She was born on October 25, 1920 in Vermillion KS and was the only child of Lester and Priscilla Talley.

Thelma grew up in the Delphos area before moving west. She married Ferdinand Zeeb in 1936. They moved to Portland, OR where she proudly worked as a welder in the St. Johns Shipyard building ships for the war effort. Thelma returned to the Delphos area with her children where she began courting Lamoine Baldock after he returned from the war. Thelma and Lamoine were married on May 5th, 1955. She spent the next 54 years farming with her husband on their Delphos area farm.

Thelma is survived by her daughter Priscilla (Zeeb) Carvin-Wright of Lakewood, CO, 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband Lamoine, son Larry Zeeb, and daughter Tamara Odette. Thelma was a mother, amazing cook, welder, farmer, hunter, trapshooter, airplane pilot, artist, writer, and devout member of the Hall Wesleyan Church to name just a few things that marked her wonderful life.

Funeral services will be at the Hall Wesleyan Church (1937 N 160th Rd, Delphos) on Thursday July 10 at 6 P.M. There will be a dinner after the service. The family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice in Thelma's name in-lieu of flowers.
