Sue Ann Kelley was born April 24, 1949, in Santa Monica, California, to Elmer John and Winona May (Jackson) Lucht.

Following high school, Sue attended beauty school and later worked in human resources at Grimmway Farms.

On June 12, 1984, Sue and Jacob Franklin Cornelison Kelley were united in marriage. They moved to Minneapolis, Kansas, in 2002. Jacob preceded her in death on December 9, 2016.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Michelle Brilhante; grandson, Grayson; brother, Bill Lucht; and longtime friend, Bobbie Ditson Howard.

In accordance with Sue’s wishes, she will be cremated and no public services will be held. Her ashes will be laid to rest beside Jacob at Fort Riley Cemetery during a private family service.
