Sue (Schmidt) Drake, 46, Olathe, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 at her home. She was born February 22, 1968 in Allentown, PA to Richard and Sandra (Thomas) Schmidt.

Sue was a 1986 graduate of Minneapolis High School. She was united in marriage with Larry Drake on July 29, 1989 in Delphos. Sue worked at Best Buy for 25 years. She was an avid sports fan, including the Denver Broncos and the Indy 500. Sue loved to take cruises and she and Larry loved to ride motorcycles.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Larry of Olathe; her brother Russell Schmidt and his wife Jo Ann of Salina; and numerous friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 19 at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Burial will be in the Delphos Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M Friday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. The family encourages you to wear your favorite sports attire to the visitation.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, American Cancer Society or Caring Bridge and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Avenue, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
