Steven R. Gawith, 62, Salina, died Sunday, October 29, 2017. He was born December 27, 1954 in Salina to Randy and Dolores (Stanley) Gawith.

He was a 1973 graduate of Minneapolis High School. Steve and Susan Nunemaker were married on October 20, 1979. He was a salesman for Ted Augustine Furniture for many years. Steve was an avid reader, lover of music, and an avid K-State fan.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Susan; daughters, Emily Gawith, Jessica Giacoletto, and Audra Gawith; brothers, Mike and Larry Gawith; and sister, Debbie Meier; and five grandchildren, Hayley, Malaina, Matthew, Nova, and Cenaya.

Graveside services are at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 3 at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis with a reception following. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Salina or Minneapolis Public Libraries or directly to the family to assist with expenses.
