Shirley J. Van Dame, 94, Minneapolis, died Sunday, July 2, 2023, at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. She was born March 5, 1929, in Beloit to Otis and Cleo (Giles) Stelter.

Shirley was a graduate of Delphos High School and was a daycare provider for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John A. on May 17, 2012; son-in-law, Larry Baccus, Sr.; and siblings Betty Baker and Dean Stelter.

Survivors are her daughter, Janice Baccus; grandchildren, Kala Bruce and husband, Jason and Kay Baccus and wife, Amy; great-grandchildren, Allie Kaiser and husband, Mike, Taylor Bruce, and Riley Baccus;  great-great-grandchildren, Olivia and Delilah Kaiser, and Kaiden Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, July 6 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis, KS 67467, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 7 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Delphos Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Golden Wheel Senior Center and left in care of the funeral home.
