Shirley L. Steckman, 79, Ada, Kansas, died Sunday, January 10, 2010.
Shirley was born October 5, 1930 in Denver, Colorado. She was a homemaker. Shirley was united in marriage with Ershel Steckman on April 11, 1950 in Ely, Nevada. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2007.
Survivors include her sons, Hank Steckman of Manchester, KS and Gordon Dwayne Steckman of Palmer, Alaska; and her daughters Linda Leach of Salina and Becky Steckman of Minneapolis; brother Harry Wilhelm of Denver, CO; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 P.M., Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery, Ada, KS. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. Tuesday and 9 A.M. to Noon Wednesday at Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Ottawa County.
