Shirley M. Hendrixson, 74, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the Ottawa County Health Center. She was born Aug. 18, 1934 in Ottawa County to John Louis and Edith Howell Hendrixson. She retired from the U.S. Forestry Service.
Survivors include a brother Lynn Hendrixson and wife Linda and a sister Linda Lee Hendrixson, all of Minneapolis.
Per her request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. The body was cremated. Memorials to Minneapolis Public Library for animal books for children, in care of Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis.
