Robert D. Flegler, 59, Minneapolis, died Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. He was born June 21, 1953 in Great Bend to Clarence and Gertrude (Madden) Flegler.

His favorite pastimes were hunting and working at the farm. Bob enjoyed spending time with his grandsons hunting and other activities. He worked for Green Line Service Center and then he worked for Evan Atwell as a mechanic.

Survivors include his wife Sharon of the home; mother Gertrude of WaKeeney; son Ben Flegler and his wife Nicole of Omaha, NE; daughter Rachel Moore and her husband Chuck of Minneapolis; sister Mitzi Harrison of WaKeeney; and five grandchildren Paige Putman, Connor and Cobie Flegler, and Trevor and Ty Flegler.

Graveside services will be at 2 P.M., Friday, November 30 at the Bennington Cemetery, Bennington, KS. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M. Thursday at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis where the family will receive friends from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. The family kindly requests no flowers and that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, American Heart Association, or the local Hunter's Safety program.
