Richard L. Smock, Sr. 71, Tescott, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 in Salina. He was born July 28, 1942 in Danville, IL to William Richard and Gertrude M. (Torbit) Atwood. He was a United States Navy veteran and he worked in construction for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Susan Wagner; sons John and Shawn Wagner; brothers Dale and John Smock; sister Jackie Thomas; and five grandchildren Jacqueline, Tylor, Seth, Jakob, and Brecken Wagner.

Cremation was chosen and a memorial visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 9 at the Tescott Lions Club building. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
