Richard Lynn Pieschl

Richard Lynn Pieschl, 84, of Minneapolis, Kansas, passed away Monday, July 17th, 2023.

Richard was born in Minneapolis, Kansas on August 7, 1938, a son of Ollie Neva (Wolfersperger)  and Vincent John Pieschl, Sr.

He was a teacher/counselor in Bennington Schools for 17 years before becoming a farmer. He was happiest when he was working with his cattle and riding the 4-wheeler with his dog, Dutchess.

Survivors include his three sons, Rick Pieschl, of Minneapolis,  Greg Pieschl, of Minneapolis, Dave Pieschl (Michelle), of Marysville, Kansas; 9 grandchildren, Zach Pieschl, Gabe, Gavin, Emma Blumer, Tara Blumer, Alyssa O'Neil (Sean), Melanie Weeks (Dan), Derek, Dylan; 3 great grandchildren, Will Weeks, Toby Weeks, and Elliott Weeks.

Richard is also survived by a brother, DeVere Pieschl, of Healy, Alaska.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wives, Harriett Pieschl and Nancy Pieschl,  and brothers, Vincent Jr. Pieschl and Francis "Bones" Pieschl.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, July 21 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, July 22nd at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Minneapolis.
