Richard L. "Jonesy" Jones, 79, Wells, died Sunday, May 19, 2024, in Minneapolis.  He was born October 11, 1944, in Minneapolis.

Jonesy worked in road construction for 43 years and was the proud owner of Jones Recycling in Wells since 1987. He was a very kind man who was known by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brandy; and siblings, Charlotte, Eddie, and Albert.

Survivors are his daughter, Carey Casper and her husband David; grandchildren, Levi Walters (Brooke Campbell) and Casey Patton and her husband, Cody; step-grandson, Cole Casper; and four great-grandchildren, Mavery, Hunter, Parklynn, and Waylynn.

A celebration of Jonesy's life will be Sunday, June 2 beginning at 4:00 P.M. at the Wells Community Center.  Memorials may be made to the Wells Community Center and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
