Richard D. Bronson, 54, Minneapolis, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. Rich was born April 7, 1957 in Salina to Benjamin and Vada (Lott) Bronson.

Rich was a 1975 graduate of Minneapolis High School and he was working as a regional manager at the Salina Journal at the time of his death. He also worked for Chris Carlson doing farm work.

Rich was preceded in death by his father Ben and a nephew Josh Nelson.

Survivors include his mother Vada Bronson of the home; brothers Jack Bronson and his wife Kay of Chicago, IL and Paul Bronson of Minneapolis; sister Jean Nelson and her husband Fred of Minneapolis; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A celebration of Rich's life will be at 2 P.M., Saturday at the home of Mark and Jona Freel, 1356 Oxbow Road, Minneapolis. Friends are encouraged to dress casual and to bring a lawn chair. In lieu flowers memorials may made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
