Rex M. Rice, 85, Delphos, died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the Nicol Home in Glasco. He was born July 21, 1931 in Cloud County to Paul and Bernice (Bellows) Rice.

Rex was a 1949 graduate of Delphos High School. He and Etoys Hoesli were united in marriage on August 23, 1950. He worked for the U.S.D.A. and did construction work. Rex was also a longtime farmer in Cloud County. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Delphos.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Phyllis Rice.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Etoys of Glasco; sons Steven (Marilee) of Lenexa, Bruce (Susan) of Salina, David (Lori) of Glasco, Brian (Janna) of Kingman, and Curtis (Violet) of Neosho, MO; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, November 29 at the First Presbyterian Church, Delphos. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis where the family will receive friends from 4-6. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or Meadowlark Hospice.
