Paula Ann Hamilton, 93, Minneapolis, died Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. Paula was born January 10, 1931, in Lincoln County to Ernest and Bertha (Mussman) Detmer.

Paula was a graduate of Beverly High School. She and Dean Hamilton were united in marriage on August 25, 1972. Paula worked as cook for many years including the Tescott schools, the former Carver Inn, and the Minneapolis Good Samaritan Center. She was a longtime and faithful member of the Salina Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean; son-in-law, Bud Dewey; and brothers, Roland and Alfred.

Survivors are her children, Stan Wohler and his wife, Elaine, Donna Dewey, and Elaine White and her husband, Gregg; sister, Verla Meier; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Scout Hall in Markley Grove Park, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 10, 2025, at Scout Hall. Burial will be at a later date in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to the Salina Seventh Day Adventist Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.
