Paul J. Riedel, 88, Minneapolis, died Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Salina Regional Health Center.

Mr. Riedel was a longtime counselor at Minneapolis High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Wayne; and all but one sibling.

Survivors are his wife, Mary; children, Cindy, Harold, Gerald, Jeff, and Sherri; brother, Joe; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Private family burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis.
