Patricia A. Parks Pointer, 90, Minneapolis, died Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Salina Regional Health Center. She was born September 6, 1926 in Salina to Edward F. and Fanny (Cummings) Riley.

Pat was a 1944 graduate of Delphos High School. She and Miles Parks were united in marriage on July 18, 1945. To this union, two sons were born, Kerry and Larry. Pat worked in the finance departments at the Lansing and Leavenworth penitentiaries for many years. On June 27, 1975, she was united in marriage with Billy Dean Pointer. After his death on March 3, 2003, Pat moved to Minneapolis to be close to family.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; brothers, Bernard Riley and Orville J. Riley; sister, Mary Lou Grimm; and step-granddaughter, Michelle Slavens.

Survivors include her sons, Kerry Parks and wife Nancy of Minneapolis and Larry Parks and wife Sandy of Topeka; sisters, Nora Shaffer, Sheryl Rauch, and Tonya Shea; grandchildren, Jason Parks and wife Jody, Dustin Parks and wife Jenifer, Krista Parks, and Barbara Petty and husband Dave; step-grandchildren, Austin and Kyler Slavens; and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Sidney, and Hayley Parks and Drew, Ben, and Katie Parks.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, at St. Paul's Cemetery, Delphos.
