Patricia A. Johns, 75, Minneapolis, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at her home. She was born March 17, 1942 in Salina to Carl and Georgina (Freeby) Pasternak.
Pat attended Salina school and was a 1960 graduate of Salina High School. Shortly after graduation, she married Clifford Johns. Pat was a realtor for 40 years and she was the owner of Pat Johns Realty. She recently retired from Coldwell Banker Antrim Piper Winger Realtors. Ten years ago, Pat and Cliff opened the Mill Street Inn located in downtown Minneapolis. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Beta Sigma Phi, and she and Cliff were very active with the Compassionate Friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carl Pasternak; and granddaughter, Nichole Johns.
Survivors include her husband, Cliff; children, Les Johns and wife Barbara, Brian Johns and wife LuAnn, and Christy Pennington and husband Brett; grandchildren, C.J., Waylon, Krista, Taylor, David, Jacob, Connor, Carrigan, Cassidy, Alexandra, Trent, and Olivia; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Ellen Boyd and husband Allen and Susan Miller and husband Don; sister-in-law, Donna Schaid; and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Sunday, November 12 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00. Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 13 at the First Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, it was Pat's wishes that memorials be given to the First Presbyterian Church or to H.O.P.E. (Helping Others (with) Positive Encouragement) and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
