Norma E. Reed, 88, Culver, died Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. Norma was born November 16, 1928 in Salina to Elmer and Elsie (Fisher) Nelson.

Norma and Dale C. Reed were united in marriage on December 7, 1947 and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2012. She was a longtime member of the Culver United Methodist Church and she was a devoted farmwife.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pamela Jean; and brother, Wayne Nelson.

Survivors include her children, Steve Reed and wife Anita; daughter, Carol Mudloff; sisters, Lois Kepple and Joyce Graham; grandchildren, Scott Mudloff and wife Rachel, Brian Mudloff and wife Alicya, Darren and Kendal Reed; and great-grandchildren, Avery, Brendan, and Oliver Mudloff.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 22 at the Culver United Methodist Church, 401 Main, Culver. Burial will be in Culver Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ottawa County Health Center and will be used for nursing scholarships.
