Norma J. Cooper, 88, Bennington, formerly of Chase, died Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. Norma was born July 8, 1930 in Rice County to James E. and Amy (Maggs) Miller.

She and Earl B. Cooper were united in marriage on June 5, 1949 in Chase. Norma worked as a C.N.A. and was a homemaker.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; and siblings, Lansing, Norman, and Marion.

Survivors are her sons, Art and Janie and Craig and Sabine; sister, Melva Miller; grandchildren, Aaron Cooper, Andy (Carol) Cooper, Neil (Rochelle) Cooper, Amanda (Dale) Smith, and Jennifer (Alex) Eberhart; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 27 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the services. Private family graveside services will be at the Springdale Cemetery, Chase. Memorials may be made to the Ottawa County Rural Fire District #4 or the Bennington Senior Center.
