Nancy J. Williams, 67, Bennington, peacefully left behind her hard fought battle with cancer on Sunday, January 28, 2018. Nancy was born November 18, 1950 in Salina to Gene and Helen (Kilgariff) Thomas.

Nancy was a 1968 graduate of Bennington High School and received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Emporia State. She taught in Salina for many years. Nancy and Thomas G. Williams were united in marriage on November 1, 1969 in Salina. Nancy was a member of the Nation Education Association, Kansas Livestock Association, and the United Church of Bennington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Tom, on July 6, 2014; brothers-in-law, Randy Pilcher and John Williams; sister-in-law, Patty Rush; and niece, Jennifer Munoz.

Survivors include children, Brian Williams and wife Arie and Amanda Rensink and husband Cade; sisters, Diana Garst and husband Joe and Kris Pilcher Langdon and husband Mic; grandchildren, Clara, Molly, and Brant Williams and Callan and Colyer Rensink; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 1 at the Bennington Bible Church. Burial will be in Bennington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Wilson Family Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bennington E.M.S. or the Bennington Bible Church Fourth of July Celebration.
