Mindi Marie Carlson 39, Salina, died Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at her home.

Mindi was born August 25, 1984, in Salina to Marvin and Virginia (Higle) Alderson.

She was a 2002 graduate of Minneapolis High School, and she received her master's degree in accounting from Kansas Wesleyan University. She and Mike Carlson were united in marriage on April 29, 2006. To this union, one son, Gage, was born.

She is survived by her son, Gage Carlson; significant other, Roger Sanborn; parents, Marvin and Virginia Alderson; siblings, Jason Alderson, Lacy (Greg) Alderson, Melody (Dustin) Ringer, and Stephanie (Beau) Furrow; nieces, Marika, Savannah, Ashlynn, Hadleigh, Josie, and Baylor; and nephews, Emmett, Cooper, and Kipton.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 7 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis, KS 67467. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 8 at the Delphos City Auditorium. Burial will be in the Delphos Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riley County Humane Society and be left in care of the funeral home.
