Michael J. Mick, 74, Salina, peacefully passed away Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Salina Regional Health Center with his family at his side. He was born June 22, 1948, in Beloit, Kansas to James and Leola (Belden) Mick.

Mike was a 1966 graduate of Bennington High School. He and Leanna Ditto were united in marriage on August 7, 1966, in Salina.  After serving in the United States Air Force, he started Mick Brother's Construction with his brother, Norman. He then went on to lead the engineering department at KASA Industrial Controls. After his retirement from KASA, he and his wife started, owned and operated Cabinet Connection in Salina.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife of 56 years, Leanna; sons, Jeff Mick, Jerry Mick and wife, Rena; grandsons, Gunner Mick and wife, Michaelyn, Kyler Mick and wife, Rhiana; and brothers, Steve Mick and wife, Karen, Norman Mick and wife, Nancy.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 17 at the First Baptist Church, 843 Lewis, Salina, KS 67401.  Inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis, at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, American Heart Association, or the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O.
