Mary Ann Denison, 56, passed away Friday, April 18, 2008 at the Kansas Medical Center, Andover, Kansas.
She was born Mary Ann Keller on June 9, 1951 in Hays, Kansas to Ernest and Adele (Sauer) Keller. She was raised in Ellis and was baptized and confirmed in Christ Lutheran Church. Upon graduating from Ellis High School in 1969, she moved to Salina and received her cosmetology and hairstyling education. Mary Ann then relocated to Minneapolis where she opened the Hair Care Salon. On April 3, 1971 she was united in marriage with Jerry Denison in Ellis.
Mary Ann was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder and was currently serving as Clerk of the Session. She was also on the Records Review Committee for the Presbytery of Northern Kansas. Mary Ann was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, a charter member of the Beta Xi Sorority, and was a former member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; her sons, Waylan Denison and Justin Denison and his wife Ashlee all of Minneapolis; her brother, Ernest Keller and his wife Tonya of Ellis, Kansas; and her two granddaughters, Kylee and Jordan Denison.
