Marjorie A. Peterson, 87, Minneapolis, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis.
She was born April 22, 1922 at Minneapolis, the daughter of Harry and Ida (Fleming) Warren, and was a lifetime resident. Prior to her marriage, she worked as a secretary in the L. A. McNally Law Office. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She was married to Kermit R. Peterson November 6, 1949 at Minneapolis. He preceded her in death April 3, 1997.
Survivors include two sisters, Naomi Myers of Waupaca, Wisconsin and Ruth Miller of Albuquerque, New Mexico and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carroll and L.L. Warren and a sister, Fern Todd.
A graveside service will be at 2 P.M. Tuesday, January 19 at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials are designated for the First Presbyterian Church of the Long Term Care Unit of the Ottawa County Health Center, in care of the funeral home.
