Marjorie K. Klein's Obituary
Marjorie Karen Klein, 77, Delphos, went to be in the arms of her Savior on Friday, November 10, 2017. Her parents were the late Willard and Clara (Liedtke) Irvine.
She graduated from Kansas State University in Elementary Education. Marjorie was a charter member of Smurthwaite Scholarship House, Phi Kappa Phi. She was married 55 years to her high school sweetheart, Robert Klein and to this union was born Derek B. and Sonja L. Marjorie was a lifelong educator, teaching at various schools. Teaching others was a highlight and goal of her life.
Marjorie didn't know a stranger and she enjoyed meeting new people. She was involved in many community activities and the church was a big part of her life.
She leaves to mourn her husband, Bob; son, Derek, daughter Sonja Woynick and husband, John; grandson, John Innocent Woynick; sisters, Virginia Hurtig and Twila Bailie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle, Minneapolis, KS 67467. Burial will be in the Delphos Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Delphos First Presbyterian Church, Delphos Museum, or the Delphos Lions Club.
