DELPHOS—Marianna, 85, passed from this life to her so richly and truly deserved eternal reward, Tuesday evening, August 12, 2008; the completion of a journey well done. Her three children were with her.
Marianna was born and lived most of her life in the Delphos community. Her husband of 56 years, LaVern Krone, preceded her in death 10 years ago. Marianna leaves to ponder and celebrate her life and cherish her memory, her children and their families: LaVonna Brown and husband Ron and their children Eric and Michelle Brown and Jacob of Delphos and Shauna and husband Randy Otting, Caeleb and Haeden of Kansas City, Kansas. Sheri Lewis of Mission, Kansas and son Bryan of Newport Beach, CA. Jack Krone of Delphos and children JoAnn Shepherd and son Trey of Fort Mills, SC and Jason and Holly of Houston, TX. Marianna was also preceded in death by her parents Howard and Faye Fleshman and sister Marilyn Gowdy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A. M. Sat. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Delphos with burial in St. Paul's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 P. M. Fri. at Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis. The casket will remain closed. A prayer vigil will be at 8:15 P. M. Fri. at the church. Memorials suggested to the family for distribution to children with special needs.
