Lyle H. Baker, 82, Minneapolis, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Society – Minneapolis. He was born April 6, 1930 in Minneapolis to Henry and Mable (Conklin) Baker.

He served in the United States Army and he worked for Ottawa County for many years as a heavy equipment operator.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Louis, Lynn, and Kenneth Baker; sisters Mildred Geisen, Maxine Hunter, and an infant sister.

Survivors include his children LeRoy and Keith Baker, Karen Stanley, Kevin, Kelly, and Jayme Baker; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, rural Minneapolis. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. to 7 P.M. Tuesday at the Wilson Family Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Society – Minneapolis.
