Louie Dean Steinbrock, 70, Minneapolis, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. He was born in Concordia on October 24, 1951 to Darrel and Tresa (Pounds) Steinbrock.

Dean grew up at Indian Lookout near Delphos and graduated from Minneapolis High School in 1969. He then attended Beloit NCK where he received a welding degree. Dean married Bette Ann Shafer on May 21, 1971. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved adventures with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darrel.

Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Bette Ann; mother, Tresa Steinbrock; daughter, Brigitte Nelson and her husband, J.C.; three grandchildren, John Dean, Shafer, and Zachary Nelson; brother, Hank Steinbrock and his wife, Diane; sister, Val Murk and her husband, Ron; nephews, Russ, Justin, and Dustin; and nieces, Mick and April.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials are to the Minneapolis High School Ag Department and may be mailed to Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
