Lorna Jones Putnam, 81, Minneapolis, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024, in Minneapolis. Lorna was born January 8, 1943, in Kansas City to Martin and Norma (Roether) Schmedemann.

Lorna worked as a housekeeper for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Joanna Jones; and siblings, Bobby, Richard, Wayne, and Jane.

Survivors are her children, Becky Karabinas and Frank Jones; sister, Judy Murrison, and a host of grandchildren.

Visitation will begin and 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis, KS 67467. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to Minneapolis Health Care and Rehabilitation Center and may be left in care of the funeral home.
