Lonnie D. Hamilton, 81, Minneapolis, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022, at the Nicol Home, Glasco.  Lonnie was born December 23, 1940, in Ottawa County to John H. and Myrtle Thelma (Masters) Hamilton.

Lonnie was a 1958 graduate of Minneapolis High School, and he was a caregiver for his mother for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carroll and Harvey; and sister, Patricia Paradee.

Survivors are his brothers, Dean (Paula) Hamilton and Roy (Anne) Hamilton; sisters, Delilah Smith and Cleta (Michael) Kinsman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 24 from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, August 25 at the funeral home and burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Minneapolis.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nicol Home or the Salina Seventh Day Adventist Church and may be mailed to Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis, KS 67467.
