Lona AbOlivia Jost, 46, Minneapolis, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park with her family at her side.

Lona was born on July 14, 1976, in Kinsley, Kansas the daughter of Glen E. Small and Carolee Mae (Dixon) Failer. Lona was a 1995 graduate of Seaman High School,  Topeka KS, and she worked as a home health aide for OCCK in Salina KS.

Lona was a triplet, she loved helping people and being around family, watching her grandkids. Her favorite holiday was Christmas.

Left to remember Lona's memory are her mother; Carolee (Richard) Failer; siblings, Marc (Erin) Small, Dallas Small, Spencer Small; her husband, Chad; her four daughters, Darla (Justin) Merriman, Courtnee (Bailey) Trostle, Ma Kayla Jost, and Lynzee Jost (Zach McCready); one granddaughter, Brynlee Trostle; three grandsons, Brantlee, Bentlee Trostle, and Kashton McCready, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Lona was preceded in death by her grandson, Kingston McCready; Aunt Thelma Morgan;  two sisters, Loretta Belle and Lorraine Camilla; and father, Glen Small

Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 11, at the Community Bible Church, Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to Community Bible Church of Minneapolis KS and may be left  in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis Ks 67467.
