Lloyd Loy Pruitt's Obituary
Lloyd Loy Pruitt, 91, of Kansas City, Mo, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 23, 2018. He was born on October 11, 1926 to Otis and Irma (Loy) Pruitt of Barnard Kansas.
He married Margaret Ann Dickinson on January 26, 1947, and they were blessed to be married for 71 years. They made their home on a farm near Barnard, Kansas where they grew crops. In 1961, they established a Grade A dairy farm. They retired in 1984 and moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas.
He served on the Ada school board, Trustee of the Ada Methodist church, Elder of Bella Vista Christian Church, and was current member of Briarcliff Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ralph.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret of the home; four children, John (Marilyn) Pruitt of Minneapolis, Kathy (Dan) Matt of Kansas City, MO, Tom (Joni) Pruitt of McPherson, and Joni Hartman of Little Rock, AR; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and sister, Janice Skinner of Hawaii.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 26 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Ada. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Baptist Children Home, 11300 St Charles Rock, Bridgeton, Mo, 63044.
