Linn I. Bacon, 62, Ada, Kansas, died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. Linn was born September 29, 1947 in Salina, KS to Keith and Betty (Austin) Bacon.
He was a member of the Ada United Methodist Church and former member of the Moose Lodge. Linn was a farmer.
He is survived by his parents, Keith and Betty Bacon of Ada; his longtime companion, Janet Gowin of Ada; his children and their families, Shanna and Tom King and their family Robyn, Caleb, and Lindsey Abell, Sheldon Bacon and his children Brandon and Preston, and Shane and Elizabeth Bacon and their children Kennedy and Reese; and his siblings, Radonda Baugh and her husband Scott of Dodge City; Gary Bacon and his wife Rhonda of Barnard, Royce Bacon of Ada, Max Bacon and his wife Kim of Abilene, Arlen Bacon Ada, and Jerry Bacon and his wife Joyce of Minneapolis.
Memorial graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday at Fairview Cemetery, Ada. The body was cremated and there will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ottawa County Health Center.
