Linda L. Lewis, 69, Minneapolis, Kansas, went to be with Jesus on Friday, October 15, 2010.
Linda was born March 7, 1941 in Concordia, Kansas to George and LaVerne (Wymore) Solts. She was united in marriage with Coy Lewis on November 29, 1956 in Clay Center, Kansas. She worked as a sales clerk at K-Mart in Salina.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter Cheryl Trent in 1985.
Survivors include her husband Coy of the home; son Christopher Lewis of Salina; daughter Carrie Berndt and her husband Greg of Delphos; sister Lorinda Balog of Glasco; and two grandchildren Taylor Kline and Colleen Lynea Lewis.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday at the Community Bible Church, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Rose Meron Cemetery, Longford. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Wilson Shields Funeral Home where the family will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Ottawa County.
