Linda Ann (Willars) Larman passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008 at her home in Wanette, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years.
Linda was born November 8, 1946 to Jack and Fern (McHenry) Willars in Delphos, Kansas. She was raised and attended school in Delphos, Kansas. Linda attended college in Salina, Kansas. She moved to Oklahoma in 1986. July 1992 she and Royce Larman were united in marriage in Purcell, Oklahoma. They made their home in Wanette. Linda worked as a dental assistant until she moved to Oklahoma. She then worked as an assistant restaurant manager, a painter for United Design in Noble, and more recently as a cook at the JD McCarty Center. Linda enjoyed arts and crafts, and working in and around her flower beds.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Jack Willars.
Survivors include her mother, Fern Willars; husband, Royce Larman; children, Russell Morton, Shelly Williams, Darla Thomas; son-in-law, Clyde McLendon; Sister, Janet Durkin, and husband James; grandchildren, Katelyn Morton, Preston Williams, Kevin McLendon, Jay McLendon and Wesley Thomas, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 A.M., Friday at Wilson Shields Funeral Home. Burial will be in Delphos Cemetery. Vistiation will be from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M.
