Larry Earl "Goldie" Goldenstein, 71, of Hardin, Missouri passed away November 18th at his daughter's home. Larry was born on October 15, 1939 to Earl W. and Ellen (Bremerman) Goldenstein at home in Aurora, Kansas.
Larry had a wide variety of jobs over the years to include his service in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1963, farming, owner of L-G Speed Shop in Salina along with drag racing, heavy equipment / construction machine operator, Pizza Hut manager, and over the road truck driving.
Survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Jennifer Gant and husband Jason of Hardin, MO and Samantha Goldenstein of Columbia, MO; two sisters, Maxine Trahan of Miltonvale and Emily Walmsley of Clay Center; three grandchildren, Samara, Weston, and Kaleb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; two brother-in-laws, Joe Walmsley and Everett Trahan; and one niece, Mary Ann Trahan.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday at Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Burial with military honors will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may sign the register book from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
