Kip Curtis Huffman, of Delphos, KS, passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 67.

Kip was an only child born in Wichita, KS, to Ivan Huffman and Delma Dean (Pounds) Huffman.

After attending school in Delphos and Vo-Tech in Beloit, Kip worked at El Dorado in Minneapolis, KS building buses and then at Raytheon in Salina, KS building airplanes. He was an avid hunter and fisherman for many years. Kip's other favorite hobbies included grilling and smoking different meats and trying new recipes he would run across. He was a firm believer that no recipe was complete without socializing and sharing his creations (along with any oddly flavored pickles or cheeses he could find) with others. His door was always open, and he greatly enjoyed the visits he received from family and friends. Upon retirement, he found one of his favorite pastimes to be visiting his grand-dogs and grand-cats any chance he got. Kip even "adopted" an outdoor cat colony after moving back to his hometown of Delphos. He loved to feed the kitties and watch them play and hunt.

Kip was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his daughters, Lynda Huffman and Marcia (Chad) Tillery.

The family will hold a private burial at a later date.
