Kevin A. Watts, 57, Brookville, died Saturday, January 6, 2018 at his home. Kevin was born August 22, 1960 in Salina to Norman D. and Joyce (Morton) Watts.
He was a 1978 graduate of Bennington High School. Kevin and LuAnn Dent were united in marriage on June 27, 1981. He worked as a truck driver for Western Auto for many years. Kevin was owner of Watts Welding and Manufacturing from 2001-2014. Kevin was also a fireman for Saline County Fire District #3. He loved his cattle and farming. Kevin was a member of the Tescott Lions Club and a board member on the Saline County Farm Bureau.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kellie Watts-Goodell; and granddaughter, Kodi Ann Fuller.
Survivors are his wife, LuAnn; daughter, Ashley Fuller and husband Brandon; grandson, Korbin Fuller; granddaughter, Denton Fuller; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Crawford; brother-in-law, Darvin Dent and wife Mary; brother-in-law, Craig Goodell; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 10 at Bennington Bible Church, 824 N. Nelson, Bennington. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00. The family is kindly asking, in lieu of flowers, that memorials be given to the Kevin Watts Scholarship Fund to be awarded by the Saline County Farm Bureau Board to an Agriculture Education student and may be mailed to Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
