Kenneth W. Baker, 89, Minneapolis, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. He was born July 8, 1922 in Minneapolis to Henry and Mable (Conklin) Baker.

He was united in marriage with Norma Lee Bronson on June 14, 1947 in Salina. Kenny worked for the City of Minneapolis for many years and he was a member of the American Legion Post 76 of Concordia and V.F.W. Post 3201 of Minneapolis.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Mildred Geisen, Maxine Hunter, Louis Baker, Lynn Baker, and an infant sister.

Survivors include wife Norma of Minneapolis; his daughter Paula Christensen and her husband Paul of Minneapolis; his brother Lyle Baker of Minneapolis; grandchildren Connor Christensen, Aaron Christensen and his fiancé Amber Griffin, and Wade Christensen; and his great-grandson Layton Christensen.

Graveside services will be at 11 A.M., Thursday at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Friends may sign the register book from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ottawa County Health Center or Good Samaritan Society – Minneapolis.
